Green Factory Award System for Outstanding Greening Factories

This award system recognizes factories that contribute to environmental improvement, community harmony, and the principles of the SDGs through greening activities within their premises. Established in 1982, the award program celebrates its 43rd edition this year. The awards are categorized into four levels: "Chairman’s Award of the Japan Greenery Center," "Director General Award of the Regional Bureau of Economy, Trade, and Industry," "Minister of Economy, Trade, and Industry Award," and the "Prime Minister's Award for Outstanding Contributions to the Greening Promotion Movement." The aim is to increase understanding and awareness of the importance of factory greening by advancing through each level of recognition.
